For parents
Reading with children aged 4 to 6
Simple ways to share the Early learners stories: read aloud, look at the picture, ask one question.
Keep it short
One story at a time is plenty. Read a scene, look at the picture together and let your child tell you what is happening.
Ask, don't test
Use one of the story questions as a conversation, not a quiz. Every answer shows its Bible passage so you can read the actual words together.
Point to the real Bible
Show your child that the story comes from the Bible by opening "Read the Bible" for one verse, such as Genesis 1:3 or Mark 10:14.
