Open a passage
Type a reference into search: John 3:16, Yohana 3:16, Thaburi 23 or Gen 1. The first suggestion opens it. Or use the Version · Book · Chapter picker on the home page or the reference button at the top of the reader.
Change version without losing your place
Tap the version button (for example WEB) while reading and choose another. You stay on the same chapter whenever that version contains it; if it does not, BibleKenya says so and never substitutes another translation. Star versions to keep them at the top.
Highlight, note, save and share
Tap a verse or its number. Choose a colour, or Custom for any colour with the colour wheel, HEX or RGB values and opacity. Tap more verses to select a range, or select words with your finger or mouse to highlight just a phrase. Everything is saved in this browser and appears under Saved, where you can filter, export and import.
Reader settings
The Aa button sets the theme (Night, Day or your device setting), text size, font, line spacing, alignment, reading width, verse numbers and footnote markers.
Offline
Download books on the Offline library page. Downloaded books, your highlights and notes, and your settings work without a connection.
