दावीदको आरोहणको गीत।
हे याहवेह, मेरो हृदय घमण्डी छैन,
मेरा आँखाहरू हठी छैनन्;
म ठूला-ठूला कुराहरू
अथवा आफूले पाउनै नसक्ने कुराहरूमा आफूलाई अल्झाउँदिनँ।
तर मैले आफूलाई शान्त र चुप गराएको छु;
आमासँग तृप्त भएर बसेको बालकझैँ,
आमाको दूध छुटाइएको बालकझैँ म सन्तुष्ट छु।
हे इस्राएल, अहिले र सदासर्वदा
याहवेहमा नै आफ्नो आशा राख्!
