Neni ne morkketa gishshas
ne baalgaaranne
ne bolla mandizayssa
sirphi ooththanawu
guuththa nayta doonaninne
dhammiza nayta doonan
galata kunththadasa.1
Neni ne kushen medhdhida salota,
sohon sohon neni
woththida aginanne
xoolintteta tani be7iza wode,
neni asas qoppanawu asi aazee?
Woykko neni asa naas
wudettanawu izi aazee?2
Iza neni kiitanchchatappe3
guuththara ziqqisadasa;
bonchchonne gitateththa
kallachcha
iza hu7en goxxisadasa.
Iza neni ne medhdhida
medheteththa ubbaa bollan
haarizaade ooththada
sunththadasa;
ubbaaka izas haarisadasa.4
Dorsatanne miizata,
do7a ubbaa,
salo kafota, abba moletanne
abba giddon diza medheta
ubbaaka izas haarisadasa.
