simma xeelliza wode
tana maaddanay oonikka deenna;
ta baqata attanaasoyka deenna;
ta shemppoys wudettiza
asikka deenna.

Ne tana maaddana mala
ta neekko waassays;
ta zemppoy nena;
ta shemppora paxa dishin
ta qaaday nena.
Tani keehippe
hidota qanxxida gishshas
ne ta waaso siya!
Tana gooddizayti
taappe wolqqatida gishshas
tana ashsha.
Tani ne sunththaa galatana mala
tana qashoppe birsha.
