Xoossa poo7oy izas
poo7isonttaadey oonee?
Asi Xoossa sinththan
waani xillo gidi
beettanawu dandayzee?
Asho may7ida medheta gididi
waani geesh gidanawu
dandayzee?
Hekko Xoossa sinththan aginaykka
muqqa booth gidenna;
xoolinttetikka iza sinththan
geeshshata gidettenna.
Musanne guxune gidada hayqqiza asi
hessafekka ay mala iita!»
