About this letter

Paul wrote this letter to Titus about 2,000 years ago, about 30 years after Jesus went back to heaven, and it is now in the Holy Bible.

God sent Paul to lots of countries to tell people about Jesus. Titus was a young man that went with Paul to the island called Crete, near the country called Greece. Then Paul got ready to go to another place, but he asked Titus to stay at Crete to help the new Christians there.

In this letter Paul told Titus things that helped him be a good Christian leader. This letter has important messages for us Christians today, especially for ministers and pastors. It can help church leaders work out how to properly look after the people in their churches.
