Xoossi nuni shiiqi attizasonne
nuus wolqqa;
nuna metoy gakkiza wode
maaddanaas izi ubbato
matan dees.
Hessa gishshas biittay qaaxxiko,
zumatikka duge abban gelikko
nuni yayyoko.
Abba dambalaykka
guummidi hoomotikko,
iza wolqqama hanon
zumati kokkorkkoka
nuni dagammoko.
Xoossa katama,
Ubbaafe Dhoqqa Xoossay dizason
ufayssiza shaafati deettes.
Xoossi izi giddon diza gishshas
he katamaya qaaxxuku;
wontta maaladora Xoossi
izo maaddana.
Kawoteththati makkallan dendida;
kawotikka kundida;
izi ba qaala
dhoqqu histti sissides;
biittayka seerides.
