Genesis 25–50
Isaac and Jacob's Family
Isaac and Rebekah, the twins Esau and Jacob, and Jacob's twelve sons and daughter by four mothers.
Isaac married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel and sister of Laban. After twenty years she bore twins, Esau and Jacob. Genesis 25:19–26
Jacob married Laban's daughters Leah and Rachel. With Leah, Rachel and their servants Bilhah and Zilpah he had twelve sons and a daughter, Dinah. Genesis 35 lists the sons by their mothers. Genesis 29:16–30:24Genesis 35:16–26
Jacob later claimed Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh as his own, which is why Joseph's line is counted as two tribes. Genesis 48:5
