Genesis 11–25

Abraham's Family Tree

Abraham's parents and brothers, his wives Sarah and Keturah, Hagar, and the families of Isaac, Ishmael and Keturah's sons.

Scripture in WEBWorld English Bible — Protestant Edition

Abraham was the son of Terah, with brothers Nahor and Haran; Haran's son Lot travelled with him. His wife Sarah bore Isaac in her old age. Genesis 11:26–31Genesis 21:1–3

Before Isaac's birth, Sarah gave Hagar, her Egyptian servant, to Abraham, and Hagar bore Ishmael, whose twelve sons became princes of their peoples. After Sarah died, Abraham took Keturah, who bore six sons. Genesis 16:1–16Genesis 25:1–4Genesis 25:12–16

The tree keeps each mother with her own children and does not stop at Isaac's line: Ishmael's and Keturah's families are part of Abraham's recorded household. Genesis 25:5–6Genesis 25:9
