Ecitabu ca Abudiya co cisungunu bwenêne omu bitabu by’abalêbi. Obulêbi bwa Abudiya bwabire omu njira ibirhi: okuhanwa kwa Edomu n’olusiku lwa Nyamubâho, lusiku Israheli acîhôla kuli Edomu.

Edomu alinda oku Yeruzalemu ashâbûka lyo arhêra Yûda, lyo arhôla ebirugu n’obugale bw’ecihugo. Ntyo rhwanahashiderha oku eci citabu cayandikagwa amango Yeruzalemu akagilibuzibwa na Edomu.
